Meeting Rooms
Each library branch has available a Community Room available for patrons to rent for business or use for non-profit meetings. Quiet Study Rooms are also available at specific branches for patrons to use for studying or for rent. The library also allows patrons to rent the rooms for private parties or special events.
Patrons using the rooms for business purposes will be able to rent all or half of the Community Rooms. Renting half the room at the Franklin, Trafalgar, or White River Branch will cost $25 for the first hour and $15 for each additional hour. Renting the whole room at the Clark Pleasant, Franklin, Trafalgar, or White River Branch will cost $50 for the first hour and $25 for each additional hour.
The quiet study rooms at the Franklin and Trafalgar branches will be available to rent at $10 per hour for purposes like depositions and business consultations.
Some equipment like laptops and overhead projectors will also be available for minimal usage fees, while other items like screens, white boards, and audio-visual carts will be available at no cost.
Not-for-profit groups will still be able to reserve the Community Rooms at no charge up to twice a month for educational, cultural, recreational, and civic purposes. All such meetings must be open to the general public. Registration fees covering only the cost of materials will not disqualify groups from free room use. However, groups will need to pay a rental fee if they intend to use the room to sell products and services or to raise money for a cause or organization.
