Audiobooks
JCPL's audiobook collection, which includes both CDs and cassettes, contains both fiction and nonfiction titles for adults, teens, and children. Even the youngest listeners can enjoy their favorite books being read aloud. JCPL also provides access to a number of titles available for download to your home computer or MP3 player through our website. See our Downloadable Books webpages.
CHECKOUT LIMITS
A patron may checkout ten audiobooks for a period of 21 days. Please see the Circulation Information regarding audiobooks.
Finding Audio Books through the JCPL Catalog:
- Click on "Search our Catalog" in the upper right-hand corner of the JCPL website.
- Click on "Power Search"
- Type in a keyword for "Words or Phrase," or the "Title," "Author," "Subject," or "Series"
- You may choose a branch or search all the JCPL branches
- From "Type" on the lower menu, choose "Audio-book"
- Click on "Search Catalog"
- You will be taken to a list of Audio-books in both CD and Cassette formats.
