Book Discussion Groups

Sometimes a book moves us so much that we can't wait to talk about our experiences with friends. Other books challenge us or leave us scratching our heads, and we look to fellow readers to help us figure out the author's intentions, the characters' motivations, or simply the meaning of the final chapter.

Our Franklin and White River branches host monthly book discussion groups for adult readers who love to share their opinions and listen to what others have to say.

The White River book discussion group takes place at 1 p.m. on the last Wednesday of every month. Call (317) 885-1330 for more information about joining the group and obtaining a copy of the next book.

Tuesday Morning Reads at McAlister's Deli book discussion group takes place the second Tuesday of the month from 9:30-11:00am. Call (317) 885-1330 for more information about joining the group and obtaining a copy of the next book.

The Franklin book discussion group takes place at 6:30 p.m., typically on the first Monday of the month. Call (317) 738-2833 to confirm the date of the next discussion and to request a copy of the book.
