The Many Faces of Cinderella

We all know the story: girl is mistreated, then is visited by a fairy godmother and bippity, boppity, boo she’s married to a prince and lives happily ever after. Sounds familiar, right? Well, the Johnson County Public Library wants to you to know that isn’t quite all there is to the story.

Come to the Franklin Branch on Thursday, July 14th at 3:00 p.m. to learn about all the Cinderella stories featured in the literary traditions from around the world. Afterwards, check out all the varied Cinderella stories in JCPL’s collection.
