James Whitcomb Riley Comes to Johnson County!
"The most essential factor is persistance - the determination never to allow your energy or enthusiasm to be dampened by the disouragement that must inevitably come." James Whitcomb Riley was a prolific and inspiring Indiana poet. Now you have a chance to meet him!
Join us at the Johnson County Museum of History on Saturday, April 20 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. to learn about his colorful struggles to find fame before becoming one of America’s most popular writers. He’ll share true moments from his life, and also some of his best-loved poems.
Open to all ages and no registration is necessary.
