White River Branch of Johnson County Public Library to Close for Three Weeks in May
Extensive Construction on HVAC System Causes Branch Closing from May 11 to June 3
Beginning Saturday, May 11, the White River Branch of Johnson County Public Library will be closed for 21 days while extensive construction is performed on the building’s heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system. The branch is scheduled to re-open on Monday, June 3. During this time, the three other branches of the JCPL system, Franklin Branch in Franklin, Clark Pleasant Branch in New Whiteland, and Trafalgar Branch in Trafalgar will be open for their regular operating hours. In addition, Clark Pleasant Branch will be open on Sunday, May 12 and Sunday, May 19 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. as well as remain open until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday during this time. Patrons who normally visit the White River Branch are encouraged to visit one of the other three branches to fulfill all of their library needs. Patrons can continue to return materials in the drop-box at all four locations during the closing.
