Backyard Composting
With planting season just around the corner, this is the perfect time to start your own compost pile. Johnson County Recycling District educator, Kim Schafstall, will be at the Trafalgar Branch on Thursday, February 28 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. She will teach you how to make your own backyard compost pile or vermicompost bin. Participants can register to win one of two compost bins.
