Adult Learning Center receives Rotary Donation.
The Adult Learning Center of the Johnson County Public Library recently received a $500 donation from the Franklin Rotary Club, a long-time advocate of education and community services.
The ALC provides free tutoring services to adult learners in the areas of Adult Basic Education and English as another language, a vital service that promotes economical health and community growth throughout the county. The Rotary donation will be used to purchase tutoring materials, plan special events for students and tutors, and procure general ALC supplies.
