Free Autism seminar at JCPL.
Do you have a child on the autism spectrum or do you know someone else who is affected by autism? The Johnson County Public Library invites you to a very special workshop focused on this often misunderstood phenomenon.
On Monday, October 8 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Abbey Parker of Stillpoint Consultants will be on hand at the Trafalgar Branch of the Johnson County Public Library to share facts and expose fictions about the autism spectrum. She will also discuss developmental milestones and how to get connected to community resources. Come check out ideas for parents and kids to implement in their homes, schools, and communities.
