Have you been considering a move to a retirement community because of safety and mobility issues but really want to stay in your own home? The Johnson County Public Library wants to help you learn about strategies that might make it possible for you to remain safe and independent on your own terms.

Mike Dukate, National Association of Home Builders certified aging-in-place specialist and owner of Dukate Fine Remodeling, Inc., will be at the Franklin Branch on Thursday, October 20 at 1:00 p.m. to to share information on home improvements that will make it possible for you to stay independent, safe, and comfortable throughout your maturing years.
