Alzheimer's Workshop @ JCPL
If you are close to someone experiencing the devastating effects of Alzheimer’s, come to this interactive three-part program where you will have a chance to hear from others who have been long-term Alzheimer’s caregivers.
During the series, caregivers will learn the symptoms and care needs associated with the middle-stage of Alzheimer’s and learn about the relationship changes that occur in this stage. Areas addressed will include maximizing safety; preparing for emergencies; and access to respite care will be discussed, as well as effective ways to providing care and managing challenging behaviors.
Workshop sessions will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, Tuesday, April 17, and Tuesday, April 24
Open to adults. To register, please call 885-1330 or visit www.jcplin.org
