Basic First Aid Certification Course at JCPL
Life is unpredictable. The Johnson County Public Library would like to help you be a little more prepared when an emergency occurs. Come to our Trafalgar Branch on Tuesday, September 20 for a Basic First Aid Certification Course. The class will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Rex Saltsgaver from the Greenwood Police Department will be on hand to teach procedures for treating bleeding, shock, burns, fractures, allergic reactions, as well as heat and cold related emergencies.
All participants to complete the program will receive a three year Basic First Aid Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute.
A materials fee of $13.50 is due at the beginning of the class.
