Beautiful Jim Key, the Wonder Horse!

A horse that can read, spell, and count? Strange but true! Owned and trained by former slave and Civil War veteran, “Dr.” William Key, Jim Key was a phenomenon in turn-of-the- century America.

Come learn more about his extraordinary story at the Johnson County Public Library’s Trafalgar Branch on Friday, December 9 at 4:30 p.m. This unique program will celebrate the intelligence of animals and the amazing power of gentle training and love.
