Let’s All Read Together!
One Author, One Community @ JCPL
Come and see what February has in store for you at the Johnson County Public Library! This year, we are excited to celebrate a One Author, One Community read program at all four of our branch locations. This community-wide read encourages people throughout the county to connect, communicate, and contribute their ideas and experiences to each other by reading a variety of works by a single author. The Johnson County Public Library supports the themes written by this author by offering book discussions and other related programming for its patrons.
This year we are featuring the works of Bloomington author, Scott Russell Sanders, whose many works examine the human place in nature, the character of community, the relationship between culture and geography, and the search for a spiritual path. Copies of Dr. Sanders’ books are available at all of the Johnson County Public Library branches, so make sure to reserve your copies at any JCPL branch or at www.jcplin.org
Pick up a copy of the Connections newsletter or visit www.jcplin.org to get a full list of dates and times for all One Author, One Community events.
