Read for the Record at JCPL
Baby Llama wants his mama! And the Johnson County Public Library wants your help to fight illiteracy! Read for the Record is an initiative of the Reading is Fundamental Foundation that seeks to set a record for the number of kids that read the same story on the same day. Corporate sponsors across the nation will donate money to the Foundation and their many literacy programs based on the number of children who participate in the October 6 event.
So bring your little llama to one of the Johnson County Public Library’s branches on Thursday, October 6 for a very special storytime featuring an impatient little llama and his loving mama.
