Public Library Access Card (PLAC)
Residents of Johnson County who do not live in JCPL's taxing district and residents of other counties have two options to choose from if they would like to get a JCPL Library Card:
- A PLAC (Public Library Access Card) may be purchased for a fee of $50 per year. A PLAC card is valid at any public library in the state of Indiana and may also be purchased at any public library. The PLAC card is good ONLY for the person whose name is on the card. It is not a family card and is non-transferable.
- A non-resident family card may be purchased for a fee of $100 per year. This allows each member of your family to have a library card. A single non-resident card is $75 per year. These may be purchased at any JCPL Branch.
