JCPL staff interviewed more than 200 community members from all areas of the community as part of the High Energy Plan research. The participants included people from all geographic areas and various community organizations and institutions.

Indiana University Public Opinion Poll April 2011
Indiana University conducted a poll of 305 registered voters in Johnson County and asked key questions related to the Franklin Branch project. The poll was conducted in late April.

Town Hall Meeting Turning Point Results May 2011
Architect firm Fanning-Howey and JCPL hosted four Town Hall Meetings in early May 2011. Participants were encouraged to answer questions about the proposed Franklin Branch project, using a Turning
Point poll system.
Indiana University Public Opinion Poll November 2010
Indiana University conducted a public opinion survey of registered voters who live in the Johnson County Public Library district. The survey included 300 respondents who were asked questions about the library's brand image and the proposed new branch in Franklin.

Community Advisory Group
The Johnson County Public Library formed a Community Advisory Group in 2011 -- made
up of stakeholders and patrons throughout
the district -- to review information about the proposed new Franklin Branch. They shared their opinions about the project's location, design and costs. The group met several times. Here are the notes from one of those meetings.
