Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients

  • 15.35 oz. package sandwich cookies
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 2 T shortening
  • 10 oz. milk chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Crush cookies and place in bowl.
  2. Beat in cream cheese with mixer.
  3. Roll into 1 inch balls and freeze for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt chocolate and shortening together.
  5. Dip cookie balls into chocolate.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Yield: 40 cookie truffles
