Chocolate Chip-Pecan Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter or stick margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 bag (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)

Directions

  1. Beat sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  2. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375°.
