The Alzheimer’s Association will present this program that is designed for caregivers to learn about the late-stage of Alzheimer’s. Caregivers will learn the concept of the self in the late-stage of Alzheimer’s disease as well as learn effective ways to communicate, connect with, and provide daily care in the late-stage. The program will also cover late-stage care options and explain how to access and evaluate them.
The program will take place at the Johnson County Library, White River Branch, 1664 Library Blvd., Greenwood on Wednesday, November 14th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A light lunch will be provided.
The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required by calling the Alzheimer's Association at 800-272-3900.
Open to adults.
